June climatology shows higher rainfall in southwestern Ghana and lower amounts in the north. Stations such as Half Assini and Axim receive over 300 mm, forest areas like Kumasi and Sunyani receive moderate rainfall, and northern stations such as Wa and Tamale receive much less. June 2025 followed the same pattern but with higher rainfall along the southwest coast, where Axim recorded over 400 mm, while forest areas had more rainy days and parts of the north and eastern coast had fewer.
