Rainfall Analysis April 2026

In April 2026, the southern and eastern regions experienced above-average total rainfall, indicating wetter-than-normal conditions. In contrast, the northern half of the country and western parts of the middle belt recorded below-average rainfall. Rainfall frequency generally recorded a deficit across the Northern and coastal parts of the country. In all, the southern portions of the country experienced wetter conditions, while the northern portions remained drier.
