Rainfall Analysis May 2026

Rainfall conditions in May 2026 were characterized by generally above normal rainfall across most parts of southern Ghana relative to the 1991–2020 climatological average. In contrast, many locations in the northern and midwestern parts of the country experienced below normal rainfall. Rainfall frequency was also above the long-term average in several areas, particularly across the southern and northwestern zones.
