Volta Basin Flood Bulletin (21st August 2026)

Over the next five days, moderate rainfall is expected across most parts of the Ghana portion of the Volta basin particularly in regions such as Ashanti Region (Mampong, Bechem, Agogo and Ejisu), Bono (Chira and Tepa), Oti (Dambai, Nkwanta and Kete Krachi), and Eastern (Osino, Bonsu and Begoro) with rainfall accumulation projected to range between 30 – 50mm with low impact. The remaining areas in the basin are expected to record low rainfall (below 20mm) associated with no impact.
