Volta Basin Flood Bulletin (24th July 2026)

Over the next five days, moderate rainfall is expected across most parts of the Ghana portion of the Volta basin particularly in regions such as Upper West (Wa), Northern (Yendi), Volta (Kpando), Savannah (Bamboi) and Eastern (Somanya) with rainfall accumulation projected to range between 20 – 30mm with low impact. The remaining areas in the basin are expected to record low rainfall (below 20mm) associated with no impact.
