Volta Basin Flood Bulletin (28th July 2026)

Over the next five days, moderate rainfall is expected across most parts of the Ghana portion of the Volta basin particularly in regions such as Upper West (Wa, Tumu and Lawra), Northern (Yendi, Tamale and Nyankpala), Volta (Kpando, Ho and Kpeve), and Eastern (Somanya) with rainfall accumulation projected to range between 5 – 40mm with low impact. The remaining areas in the basin are expected to record low rainfall (below 20mm) associated with no impact.
