Volta Basin Flood Bulletin (7th August 2026)

Over the next five days, moderate rainfall is expected across most northern parts of the Ghana section of the Volta basin particularly in regions such as Upper West (Lawra), Upper East (Bolgatanga, Navrongo), Northern (Zabzugu, Bimbila) and Oti (Kpasa) with rainfall accumulation projected to range between 20 – 80mm associated with low impact. The remaining areas in the basin are expected to record low rainfall (below 20mm) associated with no impact.
