Over the Ghana portions of the Volta Basin, a rainfall impact of

low to medium is expected. Areas around the Upper east and

Upper west regions(Wa, Tumu, Zuarungu, Bolgatanga and

Navrongo) are expected to have rainfall varying from 5mm to

25mm. Area around the Savannah Region, North Eastern

Regions and their surroundings are expected to experience low

impact of about 20mm to 30mm of rains. 30mm to 110mm of

rains are expected over the Volta Region (Keta, Anloga,Ho and

Akatsi), exposing them to a medium impact over the forecast

period.
