The rainstorm referenced in the earlier weather updates is currently inducing cloudiness while producing moderate to heavy rainfall over Upper West, Savannah, Bono East and Northern regions. The rainstorm has triggered the formation of localised rain clouds over parts of Volta, Ashanti and Eastern regions. Few areas within coastal Ghana are also likely to experience slight to moderate rain from this evening into the night. Mist or fog patches may occur over the coastal, forest and hilly areas in the early hours of tomorrow.
The early hours of tomorrow will be characterised by misty or foggy conditions over most areas from the coast to the transition sector with the north experiencing mostly cloudy weather. Mostly cloudy with occasional sunshine may affect most areas within the country. Slight to moderate rain with our without thunderstorms is likely to affect parts of the coastal, middle, transition and northern sectors from mid-day into the evening hours. Similar conditions are expected into Sunday across all sectors of the country.
