Mostly cloudy conditions are expected to prevail across much of the country throughout the week. During the next 24 hours, widespread thunderstorms and rain will affect the middle and transition sectors, while the coast and areas slightly inland will experience widespread rain with occasional thunder. By midweek, rainfall is expected to become more scattered over southern Ghana, although widespread thunderstorms and rain will persist over the middle sector. Towards the weekend, rain activity is expected to intensify again, with widespread thunderstorms and rain affecting most parts of the country, including the northern sector. Early morning mist or fog patches are also likely over the coastal, forest, and mountainous areas throughout the period.
