Our initiative is committed to enhancing the management and dissemination of weather and climate information across Ghana, leveraging advanced ICTs for efficient and effective service delivery.
The WIDS project is designed to improve how we manage and share critical weather and climate information, ensuring that every citizen and stakeholder in Ghana has access to accurate and timely data. Through web-based and audio platforms, the project promises to deliver forecasts that are precise and readily accessible in various local languages, tailored to specific locations for maximum relevance and utility.

Our Objectives
WIDS is designed to provide real-time and accurate weather/climate information to stakeholders.
It aims to provide mobile USSD and web interface platforms to capture weather products such as forecasts, weather advisories, and warnings to the public.
Expected Outcomes
To disseminate accurate and timely weather and climate information to all users via web-based and audio platforms. These will aid specific location forecasting and dissemination of forecast in local languages
